James specializes in sports massage, injury treatment, deeper tissue work, and utilizes various other bodywork modalities and techniques to help bring balance into the body. Some of these techniques include customized aromatherapy treatments, reiki, myofascial release work, cupping, hot stone massage, various body treatments, sports massage, prenatal massage, some Thai massage, rehabilitative (injury) treatment, and Lomi Lomi massage. Being able to use multiple modalities and techniques of bodywork is beneficial in customizing James’s massage treatments to the individual needs of every client. The major goal with each client is to stimulate the body and mind to heal, increase wellness, and bring balance into their body.
James graduated from Bodymechanics School of Myotherapy and Massage (at Olympia’s Capitol Medical Center) in 2003. James is also a Registered Nurse that has worked on an ICU step down unit, at a local hospital, and as a Hospice nurse.
In James’s free time he likes to enjoy the great outdoors of the Pacific Northwest, listen to music, eat good food, keep himself healthy, and is always working towards harmony and balance on his own personal journey.
